Winter Gong & Handpan Immersion With James Hunter Crossley

A candlelit seasonal ceremony of release and deep rest through sound.

This session is hosted by Katie Mantwa George and James Hunter Crossley; we’re looking forward to welcoming you to this immersive experience.

Winter invites us to slow down, soften and let go. In this soothing candlelit experience, you’ll be held by the resonance of the gongs and handpan. Enjoy releasing tension through sound frequency, guided through reflective meditation and invited into a beautiful ancestral guidance ceremony. We’ll surrender the weight of the past year, making way for fresh beginnings.

Meaningful gifts, tea, water, snacks and joyful hosts included!

Everyone is welcome!

Good to know

·        There are chairs available for anyone who needs them

·        Wear something you feel comfortable sitting and lying down in. We do have heating, but your body temperature drops while lying down in the gong bath, so bring some warm layers

·        Snacks, water and warm tea included (please do not eat a heavy meal immediately before the session for maximum comfort)

·        If you’re new to gong baths and would like tips on what to pack (if you’re not hiring equipment), here are some suggestions; yoga mat, pillow/cushion for your head and blanket. If you have a bolster for under your knee’s when lying down, these are nice extras for yin yoga (but not a must).

Please note: Gong is not recommended for women in their first trimester of pregnancy or if you are about to give birth, anyone with sound-induced epilepsy/seizures, anyone with a pace maker or anyone suffering from extreme mental health conditions. Children under the age of 18 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Always ask a doctor if you are unsure of whether this is suitable for you.
