Winter Sound, Yin & Meditation Immersion - 7th Dec
Winter Sound, Yin & Meditation Immersion
THIS EARLY BIRD OFFER ENDS ON 3RD NOVEMBER (£60 3rd November onwards)
A candlelit seasonal ceremony of sound, release and reflection.
This session is hosted by Katie Mantwa George and James ‘Hunter’ Crossley; we’re looking forward to welcoming you to this immersive experience.
Winter invites us to slow down, soften and let go. In this soothing workshop, you’ll be held by the resonance of the gong and handpan, enjoy releasing tension through gentle yin yoga, be guided through reflective meditation and invited into a beautiful ancestral guidance ceremony. We’ll surrender the weight of the past year, making way for fresh beginnings.
Meaningful gifts, tea, water, snacks and joyful hosts included!
Everyone is welcome!
Location: Blackheath Quaker Meeting House, Lawn Terrace, SE3
Date & Time: Sunday 7th December, 5 – 7:30pm
What to expect:
Grounding: Grounding Meditation
Reflections & Intentions: Guided journalling to the sound of live handpan
Release: Gentle Yin Yoga
Gong Bath: Deeply soothing gong bath
Ancestral Ceremony: A beautiful ceremony in which we will place flowers and leaves into a bowl of water to seek guidance from our ancestors on what we would like to release and bring in as the year closes. Live handpan accompanies the ceremony.
Integration: No rush to leave as we integrate and replenish
Good to know
· There are chairs available for anyone who needs them
· Wear something you feel comfortable doing gentle yin yoga in (loungewear or exercise/yoga kit). Your body temperature can drop while lying down in the gong bath, so bring some warm layers
· Snacks, water and tea included (please do not eat a heavy meal immediately before the session for maximum comfort)
· If you’re new to gong baths and would like tips on what to pack (if you’re not hiring equipment), here are some suggestions; yoga mat, pillow/cushion for your head and blanket. If you have a bolster or yoga blocks, these are nice extras for yin yoga (but not a must).
Please note: Gong is not recommended for women in their first trimester of pregnancy, or those suffering from extreme mental health challenges. Children under the age of 18 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
Refund Policy: refunds can be made if cancelled 10 days before the session. If I have a wait-list and manage to back-fill your cancelled booking, I will give you a full refund regardless of time-frame. Transfers to another person can be made up until 4 hours ahead of the session start time. Full refunds will be given to all guests if I need to cancel the session.
